For the Sake of Adventure

Hi! My name is Christina Middelveen. Ever since I was in high school back in Ottawa, Canada, I had a desire to travel and see more of the world. You could say it started even before that, because as a book lover, I often felt the need to escape into a different world, to explore new perspectives, and to escape into something fantastical.

From books to airplanes, from an English Literature degree to living abroad in London, England, for 2 years, I have come to appreciate the challenges faced when starting a new chapter.

From opening up new bank accounts to finding a place to live, I have faced it once before, but this time with an upgraded challenge: doing it all in a foreign language. This is the German chapter.
